WHAT IS FORMULA BLUE
For the clubman driver who demands a little bit ‘more’.
A bit more of a challenge a bit more value for money, a bit more speed
Formula Blue is arguably exactly what karters have been looking for, it is MSA approved had the biggest grid at the NKRA finals 2004.
CLASS OUTLINE
Senior Blue 16 yrs and over
Junior Blue 11 to 16 yrs
100cc 2 stroke Parilla Lynx water co
oled racing engine incorporating 4 stroke reliability with 2 stroke performance, electric on board push button starter, on board alternator, tillotson adjustable carb and Maxxis tyres.Any MSA legal chassis can be used .
A unique system of using different restrictors to adjust the engine power output in relation to the driver weight in both junior and senior classes means close competitive racing. Lighter drivers don’t need loads of lead, heavier drivers are not being lapped.
Junior Blue utilises exactly the same engine and associated equipment as Formula Blue meaning there is no expensive re-engineering or replacement of your equipment. The Parilla is unique in this respect, no other karting class enables a driver to take his junior equipment forward into seniors.
Accomodated in the MSA class box structure. See yearbook page 4, clubman racing for the clubman competitor.
How can I get into it?
Speak to us and if possible we will organise a test drive for you, if you are already competing in an existing class then the engine can in most cases simply be bolted to your existing chassis thus easing the transition.
